The wedding of the year “2008”~ hehe

22^th November 2008.. The biggest day of my sister’s life.. One of the big day for the entire family… It’s the wedding day.. Which I myself still can’t believe it. Don’t even asked bout my sis part.. she’s still in her dreamland.. still cant believe she’d married the love of her life.. her first love.. her one and only boyfriend… sweet right?=)

One week before the wedding, I can say it’s among the busiest day in my life. Tiring and stressful. Rasa macam nak pengsan pun ada.. Going here and there, handling this and that. 5 minutes ago I’m at home, 5 minutes later I’m at town buying or preparing something. Tak masuk bab carik rumah kawan2 parents utk hantar kad jemputan.. Sesat la.. Salah jalan.. Salah taman.. Haha but although its tiring, I enjoy doing it. Coz its for my dearie sister’s big day..

Since it’s the first wedding in my family.. I mean Khalik’s family.. macam2 adat baru yang kami belajar.. Ada yg memang dah tahu, ada yang tak tahu langsung.. Tapi macam2 tu la yang seronok..

Tibalah saat yang dinanti… hari pernikahan.. On the nikah ceremony (what’s was it called in English?? Hehe).. the ceremony start around 2pm. And alhamdulillah, my sis proudly became Mrs Firdaus on that day.. Hanya dengan sekali lafaz.. senang je kan kawen.. haha

Malamnya.. ada karaoke..memang bergaya.. bergendang ( 2org makcik bermain gendang dan seorang pakcik bermain violin).. Ini salah satu kebudayaan orang melayu sarawak.. Sambil bermain gendang, pakcik dan makcik ni akan berbalas pantun.. dan akan ada pakcik2,abg2,kakak2 lain(sape2 je yg nak la) yang menari.. memang seronok.. berlulut (penganting perempuan bergambar dengan berbagai2 persalinan) memang manis... masak2... memang meriah.. kesimpulannya,, mlm itu memang happening giler..

Hari persandingan (besoknya).. pagi yang indah diserikan dengan majlis khatam al-quran. Then baru bersanding... Majlis diiringi dengan paluan kompang, gamelan dan karaoke. Dalam pukul 2ptg, acara memotong kek.. Petang pulak adegan photo shoot yang romantikus.. huhu me and adik beradik semua ikut.. Sampai 4 kereta termasuk kereta pengantin.. Over tak?? Hihi Kalau nak cerita takkan habis kot entry kali ni.. and I still have lots other story to share.. And ramai dah bising coz lama tak update this blog.. So I’ll stop here first..
